DUNE: PROPHECY is coming to MAX, Sky and NOW later this year, and there’s already a trailer!
Sky has confirmed that Dune: Prophecy will be coming exclusively to Sky and NOW before the end of 2024 and has released the official second teaser trailer for the drama series. The epic six-episode season, starring Academy Award® and BAFTA nominee Emily Watson OBE, alongside Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, and Mark Strong, will debut later this year on Sky and the streaming service NOW.
Set in the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, Dune: Prophecy takes place 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides. The series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces threatening the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
The cast includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.
