Celebrity MasterChef is returning to BBC One this summer with a star-studded lineup from the realms of screen and stage, sports, and the arts. Produced by Shine TV, a Banijay UK company, this 19th series will feature actors, athletes, comedians, entertainers, pop stars, and presenters all competing for the coveted Celebrity MasterChef 2024 trophy.
Judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace will oversee the culinary creations of 20 celebrities as they navigate six weeks of increasingly challenging tasks. Each contestant will don their apron and step into the MasterChef kitchen, but only one will emerge victorious as the Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2024.

The competition kicks off with four weeks of Heats, each consisting of three episodes designed to test the celebrities’ culinary prowess. In the initial Heat episode, five new celebrities face the notorious Under The Cloche challenge, where they must create a dish from scratch that showcases their skills. They will then present a two-course Dinner Party Menu. Successful cooks will advance to experience working in a professional restaurant and devise their own Food Truck dish. In the Quarter Finals, they will undergo critique from returning Champions and Finalists.
After the Heats, the eight remaining celebrities will proceed to the Semi and Final Weeks, tackling new challenges like the Pizza round, creating a lavish dining experience on the British Pullman Train, the highly anticipated Chef’s Table, and the difficult task of cooking something they dislike.
Katie Attwood, MasterChef Series Editor, says: “Celebrity MasterChef fans are in for a treat this summer – with a top line-up of celebrities and the ever-thrilling John and Gregg on judging duty.
