Billie Eilish to read ‘This Moose Belongs to Me’ for Cbeebies Bedtime Stories
On Friday, July 19, Billie Eilish reads “This Moose Belongs to Me” by author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
Billie introduces the story by sharing that, in addition to her love for music, she also has a passion for nature. She narrates the tale of a boy named Wilfred, who claims to own a very big moose named Marcel. Marcel is usually very obedient.
However, one day in the woods, someone else claims the moose as theirs, teaching Wilfred an important lesson. Billie highlights this by saying, “We need to look after beautiful, wild creatures like Marcel, but we also need to let them do their own thing.”
Billie Eilish adds, “My favorite thing in the world as a child was a bedtime story, and I would be upset if I didn’t get one! I had a lot and I loved them all!”
CBeebies Bedtime Story airs each weekday at 6:50 pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, bringing families together. Since its launch in 2002, it has been a daily family favorite, inspiring a passion for reading with its star-studded guests, meaningful partnerships, and brilliant stories.
A digital library of over 300 archived episodes is available on the BBC iPlayer CBeebies channel.
