Fans of ITV’s popular competitive gameshow Fortune Hotel can now apply for the second series, here.

A peak of 2.6million tuned in for each episode of the first series on ITV1, with more watching via catchup service ITVX.

In case you missed it, ten pairs of contestants arrived at the opulent Fortune Hotel, each receiving a briefcase. Among these, one held a life-changing jackpot of £250,000 in cash, eight were empty, and one contained the dreaded Early Checkout Card. The unfortunate duo left holding this card at the end of each episode faced an abrupt and dramatic end to their stay.

Each day, contestants engaged in a series of thrilling challenges designed to uncover the contents of the briefcases. As the tension mounted, viewers at home were privy to all the secrets, strategies, and deceptions playing out among the hotel guests. The show’s unique format kept the audience deliciously in-the-know, enhancing the thrill of watching contestants maneuver through layers of bluff and intrigue.

The climax of each episode took place in the seductive Lady Luck bar, where the nerve-wracking case swap unfolded. Here, each pair had to decide whether to keep their current case or swap it with another pair. This decision could either secure their fortune or lead to their downfall. The atmosphere was always charged with anticipation—had the couple with the £250,000 managed to maintain their cover, or would their case be snatched away? And who would be left with the ominous Early Checkout Card?
