Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is back! The UK’s biggest Christmas party will be making its spectacular return this December. The world’s hottest hit music stars will be taking to the stage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, which takes place on Saturday December 7th & Sunday December 8th at London’s O2 Arena. The show will also be streamed live for fans on Global Player, the official Capital app.
This morning (Wednesday November 6th) on Capital Breakfast, hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby confirmed Coldplay, Teddy Swims, Perrie, Clean Bandit, Ella Henderson, Tom Grennan and Sigala as the first huge hit music names playing night one of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard on Saturday December 7th.
One of the greatest live acts on the planet, and multi-award-winning international superstars, Coldplay, will play night one of the Ball. Coldplayare one of the world’s biggest and best-selling bands, having sold over 100 million albums worldwide as well as winning seven Grammy and nine BRIT Awards. Hot off the back of selling out their spectacular Music Of The Spheres World Tour in Europe, the band announced their hotly anticipated UK tour for 2025. Their huge hits include The Official Big Top 40 chart-topping ‘Higher Power’ and ‘We Pray’ from their brand new album ‘Moon Music’, as well as their US no.1 hit with BTS ‘My Universe’.
American singer-songwriter and Official Big Top 40 from Global chart topper Teddy Swims joins the star-studded lineup for night one. Teddy Swims has rapidly built a dedicated fanbase worldwide and bulldozed through the charts with the release of his breakthrough debut album ‘I’ve Tried Everything’ which includes his massive hits ‘Lose Control’, ‘The Door’ and ‘Bad Dreams’.
Singer Perrie will make her debut solo performance at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard this year. Perrie wowed the crowd at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard back in June, performing her Official Big Top 40 number 1 hit ‘Forget About Us’ and surprising fans with an exclusive performance of her single ‘Tears’. Perrie has since released her new single ‘You Go Your Way’ and teased fans that she’ll be releasing her debut solo album very soon.
Fan favourite Ella Henderson will make a return to the Ball this year. Having collaborated with huge artists including Rudimental, David Guetta and Becky Hill, Ella Henderson will be a huge hit with Capital listeners as she fills The O2 with her feel-good tracks.
Grammy award-winning electronic music group Clean Bandit also joins the bill for the Ball. With their unique blend of classical music using string instruments, and dance music, they’ve collaborated with huge artists on songs including ‘Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson)’, ‘Rockabye (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)’ and ‘Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne)’. The group recently released their song ‘Cry Baby’ with Anne-Marie and David Guetta earlier this year.
Singer-songwriter behind the huge tracks ‘Little Bit of Love’ and ‘Lionheart’, Tom Grennan will take to the stage to perform some of his hat-trick of chart-toppers. His energetic set and powerful live performances will bring the energy to light up the night.
DJ and producer Sigala will also take to the stage this December, bringing the energy at The O2 to the next level with his floor-busting DJ set. Sigala has collaborated with huge world-class stars including Kylie Minogue, Craig David, Sean Paul, Nile Rodgers, Becky Hill and James Arthur.
