Bauer expands Isle of Wight Festival coverage across three stations

Bauer, the national radio group, is expanding its Isle of Wight Festival coverage with three radio brands broadcasting live from Seaclose Park this weekend. Absolute Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, and Hits Radio will deliver live performances, interviews, and festival highlights, along with special documentaries.

Absolute Radio leads the coverage, starting Thursday night with a Pet Shop Boys documentary hosted by Matt Lucas. “Pet Shop Boys – A Celebration” will air on Absolute Radio at 9pm and will be available for a replay on Greatest Hits Radio on Sunday afternoon at 4pm.

Absolute Radio’s Ben Burrell and Sarah Champion will broadcast live from backstage on Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 6pm, and Sunday at 5pm. Both Absolute Radio and Hits Radio have offered listeners the chance to win festival tickets in the lead-up to the event.

Additionally, Greatest Hits Radio South Coast’s Rick Jackson will join Richard Allinson and Kate Thornton on their Saturday shows at 10am and 1pm, respectively, and will be back with Richard on Sunday from 10am to provide more festival news.

For those who miss the live broadcasts or want to relive the festival, Jackie Brambles will share the best moments on her Greatest Hits Radio show the following week, Monday through Thursday from 7pm.
