Prime Video unveils first-ever Global Top 10 rankings, revealing the most watched shows and movies this week

Prime Video has unveiled its first-ever global Top 10 charts, offering a new level of transparency into what subscribers around the world are watching on the streaming service.

The rankings track the total number of Prime Video accounts worldwide that watched a title between May 25 and May 31. According to the company, the lists differ from the rankings displayed within the Prime Video app, which are based on shorter viewing windows and country-specific data. Television rankings are calculated based on viewers who watched any available season of a series during the week.

Among the week’s biggest breakout hits was Crime 101, which ranked third globally. Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella, the crime thriller centers on a string of sophisticated jewel thefts linked to a mysterious criminal operating under a strict set of rules known as “Crime 101.” The film has emerged as one of Prime Video’s strongest-performing original movie launches of the year, attracting viewers with its combination of stylish storytelling, tense cat-and-mouse investigations and star-powered cast.

Another notable performer was Balls Up, which entered the chart at No. 10. The action-comedy follows two executives whose overseas business trip spirals into chaos after a series of increasingly outrageous mishaps. The film’s blend of comedy, adventure and buddy-movie energy has resonated with audiences seeking lighter entertainment.

International productions also made a strong showing, with India’s System reaching No. 2 and Italian originals No Place to Be Single and Love Me Love Me both earning spots in the global Top 10.
