Ted Lasso season 4 to launch this August

The new season of Ted Lasso will debut worldwide on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, starting with a single episode, with additional episodes released weekly every Wednesday until October 7.

Apple TV+ has announced the premiere date for the much-anticipated fourth season of Ted Lasso, led by Emmy winner Jason Sudeikis. The new season will debut worldwide on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, starting with a single episode, with additional episodes released weekly every Wednesday until October 7.

Season four sees the return of popular cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. They’ll be joined by new additions such as Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

In this season, Ted returns to Richmond to face a new challenge: coaching a women’s football team in the second division. As the story unfolds, Ted and his team embrace risk and step outside their comfort zones, learning to take bold chances along the way.

The production team also expands, with Emmy winner Jack Burditt joining as executive producer under a new deal with Apple TV+. Sudeikis continues as both star and executive producer alongside Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Brett Goldstein also contributes as a writer and executive producer with Leann Bowen. Additional writers and producers include Sarah Walker, Phoebe Walsh, Julia Lindon, and story editor Dylan Marron, with Sasha Garron co-producing. The series is produced by Bill Lawrence through Doozer Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.

Since its debut, “Ted Lasso” has become a global phenomenon, earning widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Its first season set records as the most Emmy-nominated comedy series, and it went on to win back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series awards for its first two seasons.

The first three seasons are currently available to stream worldwide on Apple TV.
