Starting Monday, 27 January, Radio 2 launches its updated weekday line-up:
- The Scott Mills Breakfast Show (Monday to Friday, 6:30am–9:30am)
- Trevor Nelson (Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–4:00pm)
- The Good Groove with DJ Spoony (Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm–midnight)
Scott Mills will host the Breakfast Show, joined by Tina Daheley as newsreader and Ellie Brennan as traffic and travel reporter. Ellie will also join Vernon Kay’s mid-morning show (9:30am–12:00pm), the UK’s most listened-to radio programme, reaching 6.8 million listeners (RAJAR Q3 2024).
Scott Mills says:

Richie Anderson will transition from The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show and Vernon Kay’s show to become the traffic and travel presenter on weekday afternoons (Monday to Thursday). He’ll feature on:
- Jeremy Vine (12:00pm–2:00pm)
- Trevor Nelson (2:00pm–4:00pm)
- Sara Cox (4:00pm–7:00pm)
Bobbie Pryor will continue to provide Friday afternoon traffic and travel updates and cover across the network throughout the year.
