These are the artists doing special Christmas Live Lounge sets this year…
BBC Radio 1 is bringing holiday cheer to listeners this Christmas with a special gift: twelve exclusive performances as part of the iconic Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Over twelve days, Radio 1’s Christmas Live Lounge will feature brand-new performances from some of the world’s top artists, including Rosé, Jorja Smith, Griff, Tom Grennan, Michael Kiwanuka, FLO, and Laufey. Additionally, the station will revisit some of the best Christmas covers from the Live Lounge archives, showcasing performances by Coldplay, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie, Hozier, and Stormzy.
The festive series kicks off at 12pm on Monday, December 2, and runs through Thursday, December 19 as part of Rickie, Melvin, and Charlie’s Radio 1 show, airing Monday to Thursday, 10:30am-1pm.
Rosé shared her excitement, saying:
“Hi my number ones, I’m so excited to be performing in Radio 1’s Live Lounge this coming Christmas! Can’t wait for you guys to see it soon!”
Hosts Rickie, Melvin, and Charlie added:

Listeners can tune in to all the performances on Radio 1 and BBC Sounds, with videos available on demand via BBC iPlayer and Radio 1’s YouTube channel.
This year’s Christmas Live Lounge also marks 25 years of the iconic Live Lounge, closing out a milestone year for the series. Over the decades, global superstars like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and Noah Kahan have graced the Live Lounge stage, with past performances by artists like Miley Cyrus, 30 Seconds to Mars, Dua Lipa, and Bruno Mars amassing over 50 million views each on YouTube.
