“I’m so blessed to have already had a lifetime of familiar songs that fans have adopted as the soundtracks to their lives, and to continue making music for them my whole life.”
Katy, who is jetting into London to perform at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball this December, also told the newspaper of her love for Great Britain:
“I have seen EastEnders, I’ve had pie and mash, bubble and squeak and I love Sunday roasts”.
“We love going for a pint… When we’re in the country we’re always going to the pub.
“We have a lot of pub dinners. I love pubs that are hundreds of years old. You just walk in and it’s just got so much history and storytelling. It’s so beautiful.”
Katy will perform at arenas across the UK next year, including venues in Birmingham, London and Manchester.
