Ricky Gervais confirmed for Radio 2 this weekend

Ricky Gervais is to return to Radio 2.

The record-breaking comedian is a confirmed guest for Romesh Ranganathan’s Saturday morning show this week. He’ll be joining Romesh in the studio to discuss his upcoming ‘Mortality’ tour.

‘MORTALITY’ is the follow up to his 2023 stand up special ‘Armageddon’, which claimed the world record for the highest grossing comedy gig of all time. Like his previous shows, it will be later available to stream on Netflix, as part of a deal Gergais has with the streaming giant.

Also on the show which airs from 10am, Rom and Sally Traffic are reunited to put another super-competitive family head to head in Family Three-Tunes, and two listeners attempt to get Rom on board with their hobbies in Pitch Your Passion.
