Zayn Malik to Guest Star on CBeebies Bedtime Stories this Wednesday
Zayn Malik is set to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories this Wednesday, May 22nd, at 6.55pm. The former One Direction singer will be reading ‘Music is in Everything’ by Ziggy Marley, a heartening tribute to the magic and allure of music. From the gentle lull of ocean waves to the clattering of pots and pans in the kitchen, Marley’s book celebrates the ability to find music in the ordinary moments of life.
With illustrations by Ag Jatkowska, the book aims to inspire children to see the beauty of music in their surroundings. Zayn shares, “I chose this book because I love Bob Marley, and because music and reading are both important to me as a parent. I sing to my daughter at night-time when she goes to sleep and I read to her at bedtime too. I feel like this will be something really cool to show her, so I’m up for reading a CBeebies Bedtime Story!”
Noteworthy musicians such as Dave Grohl, Dolly Parton, Christine and the Queens, Sir Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Gregory Porter have all previously taken part in CBeebies Bedtime Stories. The show airs each weekday at 6.50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, offering families a moment of togetherness as kids drift off to sleep.
