BBC reveals cast joining James Norton in huge new historical drama, King & Conqueror

As filming wraps on highly anticipated eight-part historical drama, “King & Conqueror” in Iceland, the BBC has announced additional cast members who’ll be joining James Norton. This epic series promises to deliver a gripping tale set against the backdrop of the tumultuous 11th century.

Epic Tale of Power and Conflict

“King & Conqueror” dives into a historic clash that shaped the future of England and Europe for centuries. The story traces the complex and interwoven destinies of two family dynasties vying for power across nations and turbulent seas. At the heart of this drama are Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy, two unlikely allies thrust into a war for the British throne, culminating in the legendary Battle of Hastings in 1066.
