Pete Wicks is the seventh celebrity contestant confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2024

Pete Wicks has been confirmed as the seventh celebrity contestant for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. The multi-award-winning entertainment show, produced by BBC Studios, will make its return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn. As Strictly celebrates two decades of spectacular dance, this season promises to be extra special, filled with even more glitz, glamour, and unforgettable performances.

Pete Wicks is a TV personality, author, and radio and podcast host. He is widely recognized for his television appearances and presenting roles, including red carpet coverage at the BRIT Awards, Pride of Britain Awards, and National Television Awards. Pete first became a familiar face on the BAFTA award-winning ITV show TOWIE in 2015. He also co-hosts the award-nominated podcast Staying Relevant, which has garnered over 5 million downloads and topped the comedy charts multiple times. In addition, Pete is a passionate animal rights advocate and actively supports numerous charities.
