The Apprentice 2025: Week 2 task revealed
What is the task in week 2 of this year's series of The Apprentice?
The Apprentice 2025 series is finally here and we’ve got preview of the task for Week 2, which will see the candidates create a virtual pop star!
After a chaotic opening episode in Austria, the candidates are back in the UK and are faced with the task of creating creating virtual pop stars. Yes, next week, the two teams need to record a single and produce a music video. And if that doesn’t already sound cringey enough, they also find themself pitching for brand sponsorship.
Prepare to watch the episode through your fingers as one team’s avatar proves to be a big flop, whilst the other team’s robotic rap goes down like a lead balloon. In the boardroom, an unimpressed Lord Sugar sends at least one candidate home,
Speaking about the virtual popstar task, Tim Campbell MBE says “Seeing the candidates become virtual representatives of themselves to become a virtual popstar, it was amazing how engaged they were. And some of the dance moves were very questionable. It’s lucky that we are not Strictly Come Dancing, because I’m not too sure that people would make it past the bottom two in that particular regard. Seeing those dance moves and the costumes; some of the clothes and attire that these things were wearing, it was like, “wow, we’ve got egos in the real world and the artificial world as well!”
The Apprentice continues each Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
