the version's Byron Burger of the Month... 'The Byron'!

Each moth the version introduces you to highlights from the menu at the UK's finest burger restaurant (in our opinion, anyhow), Byron!

Still stuffed from the December the Father Cheesemas, we took one for the team and ventured down to our local Byron to sample some delights from the menu, despite January being the month when we're doing our best to lose a few pounds.

Step forward then, the Byron burger. Yep, the burger that's so good it's named after the whole damn chain.   The Byron is a 6oz hamburger, dry cure bacon, mature Cheddar, shredded iceberg, tomato, red onion and Byron sauce. As ever, our experience was first rate. A beautifully cooked burger with gorgeous additions, and all for just £9.50.  Fantastic.

We also sampled the Smoky. A 6oz hamburger, mature Cheddar, streaky bacon, crispy fried onions, shredded iceberg, pickles and smoked chilli BBQ sauce.  Wow! The cheddar and smoked chilli BBQ sauce combo was stunning; We'd definitely recommend it!

It wasn't all about the burgers, we also enjoyed some courgette fries (seriously, give them a go cos you will not be disappointed) and some sweet potato fries, because it's January and we're clearly doing our best to be good.

All of that was washed down with a new addition the menu, a maple and salted popcorn milkshake.  BOOM! This bad boy is somethin' else! The popcorn flavour was so good and the maple gave it a unique flavour which we loved.

All in all then, another successful trip to Byron who by our book, just get it right everytime.  See byronhamburgers.com for more details.
